| Caravelle 10R Engines
Scale : 1/144
Reference : FR14001
Price : 8,00 €
These engines are primarily intended
to fit a Caravelle 10B or 12 but they will look good on a
10R or 11R too. The 10R was a "cheap" alternative
to the "Super Caravelle", the much refined 10B -
which later gave birth to the stretched 12. Basically the
10R was a 6R with 10B's JT8D engines. And since the 6R is
visually almost identical to the early I and III versions
depicted by the Airfix and PZW kits, fitting those engines
on those kits will make a perfectly realistic Caravelle 10R.
Operators of the Caravelle 10R were Iberia, Aviaco, UTA, Sterling,
Hispania, Air Afrique, Transeuropa (Spain) and SATA/CTA (Switzerlands)
among others.
The 11R was a rare bird, operators included Transeuropa, Aerosucre
of Colombia, Gabon Express and the French Air Force (which
used the type well into the mid nineties to ferry personnel
to the Pacific nuclear testing sites).

Caravelle 11R Engines and
Fuselage Extension
Scale : 1/144
Reference : FR14002
Price : 16,00 €
The Caravelle 11R fuselage
extension is designed to allow the cargo door to be fitted
in open or closed position. Cut the fuselage according to
the instructions below.
Note that a 6.5 mm section from the left fuselage will be
inserted in the right fuselage. The cargo floor is long enough
to allow you to install freight in your Caravelle. The floor
is designed to sit on the wingspar. The original Airfix/PZW
passenger door must be fitted on the cargo door.
The 11R was a rare bird, operators included Transeuropa, Aerosucre
of Colombia, Gabon Express and the French Air Force (which
used the type well into the mid nineties to ferry personnel
to the Pacific nuclear testing sites).
